I'm looking forward to beta Thymer, but damn, I hate paid subscriptions for note-taking apps. I want my note-taking app to be with me forever, without limits for personal and business use, even if I one day become homeless and unable even to afford food.

So, it would be perfect for self-hosted Thymer to have a one-time payment, or something like a one-time payment + 1 year of free updates, so after a year, I could choose to continue using Thymer as it is, or pay a little and get fresh updates.
