I hate exercise too, but a few health scares and the bulges that come with aging, remind me frequently that exercise is necessary. And like you, my challenge is choosing discipline over comfort.
I do really enjoy walking my neighborhood (I call them my walks with God because I use the time to worship Him and talk with Him), but consistency is my challenge. I get into a good rhythm, then a holiday or travel comes, and I fall out of the routine. Creating the habit and sticking to it is hard (for me) and that’s frustrating because all I have to do is get up and do it!
