What I forgot to add here is that space is needed to process the emotions of everyday life when we’re also living with the strong feelings of grief and trauma healing. Anything additional that escalates our emotions can feel overwhelming. It’s therefore essential to allow space to process emotions otherwise we suffer anxiety and insomnia.

Finding this space in modern-life is challenging and that’s why so many of us suffer anxiety and other mental health problems.

Systematic changes are needed to offer this space for anyone suffering post traumatic stress.
