Excellent analysis Aaron, I was there for ten years and can say this is spot on.

My biggest gripe is also with the Globe, and with local papers to a lesser extent. While people like Stout, Gross, and Plattoff do some good reporting you have to remember that every other writer is a long time Democrat, and while they may recognize that our lobsided one-party rule is working terribly they're never going to advocate voting for enough Republicans to make a difference.

In fact they'll do everything in their power to make sure they never get elected.
