Terrific retrospective, Gala. As someone who had all the redlining I needed after 2Fast2Furious, I appreciated being caught up on what happened next. It occurs to me that a lot of moviegoers who discovered this series, or The Lord of the Rings, as teenagers feel the same kinship toward those movies as I would towards something like The Godfather or Star Wars. It’s just a matter of what myths were created for that generation.
