Great piece Lucy. It begs the question, how much more ideological strategy lies behind the veil? Think Tanks - Junk Tanks operating on behalf of capitalism have become brazen and highly effective. They are successfully capturing, influencing, and controlling our so-called democracy. And they’re doing it in ways that allow them to pretty much do whatever they like with no direct accountability. There is to all intents and purposes no crime scene, just ‘soft’ power fuelled by hard money aimed at integrity free politicians. Those selling their labour for wages are being totally screwed from sunup to sundown. Our ‘representatives’ have become smiling assassins, shooting our futures out from beneath us from camouflaged positions using the long-guns of Machiavellian politics.
