I feel a terrible ache each time I see another apartment tower go up that is not built for community, connection, or children. Sometimes it feels like being in an art show where the art gets worse and worse, but keeps being produced until we think ‘this is what art just is’ and forget that any other art ever existed, and so we buy it.
