I worked as an election official in a downtown Durham precinct (20) yesterday. Many of the younger and well educated voters brought their children. That was pleasing. As someone who for 8 years covered government and politics including campaign appearances in Tennessee during 1980 by First Bush, Carter and Regan as well as Al Gore and the late Howard Baker, it was good to see Value Foushee eke out an apparent victory.
