Can’t help but wonder if al-Warraq is a sign of things to come for mass miracles in the smartphone era.
And I also wonder where those favorable to arguments from miracles think this debate will be standing in, say, the year 2126. Will we have experienced some mind-bogglingly well-recorded mass miracles? Or will God have actually toned things down specifically because the ambiguity is the point?
Some will say that generative AI will cancel out whatever we get from smartphones, but I don’t think that’s right. If Fátima happens today with 50,000 witnesses and 5,000 recordings, generative AI doesn’t change that.
