I have enjoyed reading your recent story. But posting it as one long text makes it difficult to read. It is too long to read in one sitting.

I start reading, but when I stop I have no way to mark where I left off. I need to know which page or chapter to go back to.

Please add page numbers and divide your text into numbered chapters about 10 pages long.

What many Substack authors are doing is to post one chapter per week. Maybe you could do the same. Then people look forward to receiving the next installment.

The famous English author, Charles Dickens, did that with his novels. They didn’t have Substack in those days so his stories appeared in the newspaper one chapter at a time, with cliffhanger endings that kept people reading.
