This is the most joyful, tender show in ages. Kind Mrs Gardiner, all the swoony rolling up of sleeves, the boat scene. Already planning a rewatch! My partner noticed Richard E Grant and said 'hasn't he already played Mr Bennet?' and I realised I'd forgotten he was in the Dakota Johnson Persuasion (light shudder) - glad he got a bit of an Austen do-over, haha.
