Our yorkie does that, too, though her modus operandi seems to be to lick the screen, which scrambles the heck out of the phone. When my oldest was about one year old, many years ago, I was working on finishing up my BA - tablets and cell phones didn't exist yet, but his favorite tactic was to plop his diapered bottom onto whatever book or paper I was working on to force in some cuddle time. I guess there's a reason pets are called "fur babies!" 🐶
