Hey there. As soon as you wrote you won some sword drills, I knew you went to an evangelical church at one time, just as I did. We had Southern Baptists on one side of the family and on the other side the Church of God in Christ, where my cousins and aunts spoke in tongues. My father didn’t really want us going to church — he was agnostic — but he was worried about me crying nightly at age four because I was worried he would die and (unfairly) be sent to hell. Anyway, I left the church at age 12 after overhearing a racist remark in Sunday school and then the rest of my family followed suit. And my beloved parents would have despised Trump; I’m glad they didn’t live to see this day.
