Not just “Are you smart?” but: How are you intelligent? What is the particular way you see, feel, connect, build, create, or understand the world?

And for me, it’s been less about finding the “right job” and more about understanding the particular way I’m meant to move through the world.

The gift itself can show up in many forms.

For me, that gift is listening with the ears of my heart. I can bring that into my writing, my speaking, my work with men, and my relationships.

And often our gifts are hidden inside the places we’ve struggled most deeply. The wounds, sensitivities, and darknesses we’ve had to learn intimately from can become the very places we’re able to serve and bring wisdom from most powerfully.
