Make money doing the work you believe in

There is a lot of talk about a "Coasean singularity," which is too bad because Coase himself would have known better. "Transactions costs" for Coase weren't simply the friction of gathering and processing information; they included the more subtle and profound aspects of how trust forms and is maintained. We need to account for those costs as well, and as you so ably explain smarter models alone aren't going to do the job.
