I’m sitting in Terminal 2 departures at Heathrow having just been through a park and ride car park, shuttle bus, bag drop and three stages of security including a shoes-off pat down - all conducted by foreigners, none of whom possessed a British accent and some who could barely speak English.

This is a foreign country.
