Make money doing the work you believe in

I’ll confess I didn’t read the referenced article. Maybe I will later, but generally I’m tired, as a member of GenX, feeling like when the young say “boomer”, they mean us implicitly. I think it is incorrect to say that GenX doesn’t understand the plight of GenZ, with regard to jobs or otherwise. My impression is that GenX is loudly making the world at large aware of the current state of things. You correctly point out that things were not easy for us, either, and mainly, that we were the first generation which had abysmal parenting (at least as a whole). We could be rightly accused of moving in bad directions, but we were playing along with what we had been told to do. Furthermore, what is the benefit of assigning blame? I tend to think that the situation is that the taint the boomers were infected with simply took a few generations to be recognizable. We were all affected, even and most especially the boomers, who may have all the wealth, but lost out on many things of true value and will doubtless suffer in the hereafter for it.
