The essay keeps pretending it's making you laugh, but all along it's sneaking you toward that last sentence. "I miss the feeling of having felt that feeling" feels like the kind of line you don't finish writing you kind of discover it like Columbus saying boom that's america.

This is why I love reading personal essays. They let me borrow memories I'll never have.
