I, a Emmawkes shipper (oh dear. Are there any better ship names anyone has conceived of?), feel it is my Moral Duty to point out that on Dec 23, out of all the gifts given between Emma and the Men/Alchemy, Hawkes and Emma are most moved by each other's gifts. Hawkes gives Emma the Ireland book, which makes her cry, and she gives him the "Astra inclinant, sed non obligant" pillow which... moves him? Freaks him out? It's definitely one of the strongest displays of emotion we see from him! I'd love to hear your thoughts 😁
