So much of my journey the past year or two has been a sincere wrestling with things like glossolalia. I grew up cessationist, and am part of a denomination where glossolalia is not a common practice.

It seems that a sincere, face-value reading of Paul in 1 Corinthians 14 (like you’ve done), means we can’t rule it out.

Imagine my surprise when God gave me the gift of glossolalia one day in worship a few months ago! I’m praying for that surprise in your life as well.
