We actually watched that speech and were appalled to be hearing what was said in the name of God. Something that struck me was the statement that we need religion, and we need God. I’d say we need less of religion and more of God. Guided and directed by the Spirit of Christ. Just because you stand in a garage yelling out “I’m a car!” , doesn’t make you a car. Well written sir.
