I can definitely relate to this, Diane! I agree with you; I also think God gives this sort of ache to us to make us realize how deep our need for Him is. I definitely have experienced the ache as well as the certainty that, at least in part, it keeps me from being too comfortable here in my tent when Home is still an unknown distance away. What a journey!
