Happy Canada George - hope you’re feeling strong these days. Love your always very well presented writings - as someone who’s spent a significant part of my life in both Alberta and Quebec as well as now more than half in Ontario there certainly are regional differences on what might be “resented” - in different parts of our country - generally people seem to be focused locally on what matters most to them. What surprises me most is when people spend more time focused on what happens beyond our borders rather than the policies and regulations we impose upon ourselves that limit the abundance of what we have within our own Canadian borders to allow us all to prosper - perhaps a little more accountability and focus on actual results - no matter where we live I believe that people resent wasteful spending - that belief needs to be supported by a media who actually holds governments in power to be accountable - that seems to be sorely lacking but I digress and potentially reveal my biases😂
