George Freeman should have been a superstar. I’ll never understand why he wasn’t. OK, I can maybe understand (the illiterate phrase ‘too cartoony’ has haunted me too my entire creative life in comics), but I certainly neither agree nor will EVER appreciate the ‘reasoning’.
