were the aliens truly homogeneous, or merely homogeneous under the humans’ measurement basis?
the post’s deepest move is culture as a person-making technology. its weakest causal joint is disagreement → war. its most interesting ethical joint is that refusing the download protects peace by preventing the creation of anyone capable of objecting to that peace.
