As a Spanish teacher, I too struggle with the use of AI as a tool in my classroom. This is especially the case because my students are at the novice stage of language acquisition and are still learning the fundamental elements of vocabulary and basic sentence structures. I also understand AI has become a mainstay not only in education, but in life. I am also a proponent of student voice so I find the idea of co-writing the policy with my students to be intriguing. I would love to see the template and the prompt. Thank you so much for this thought provoking post.
