Make money doing the work you believe in
Looking back after the June election, Armenia’s choice should not be reduced to a simple decision between the European Union and Russia.
Security, economic dependence, peace with neighbouring states and democratic self-determination are deeply intertwined. International observers described a genuine electoral choice, but also foreign pressure and unequal campaign conditions.
A small country should not be turned into the object of a struggle between larger power blocs.
The decisive question is whether Armenians can shape their own future without trade restrictions, security threats or political pressure determining the outcome in advance.
Armenia needs relationships in different directions — but the final mandate must remain with its people.
