Almost from the beginning I was reminded of the Christine who kept the Class of 2000 going. And lo and behold that's who you were writing about, and there was that wonderful photo at the end! (And those computers!) It was in the new lab, not the old home ec room, where for some reason I remember you best. But no matter, you have written another introspective, insightful piece.
