I've observed that women are often behind the continuation of civil war in Churches. Men can come to blows and then forgive. Modern women will not do that. Once a fight is on, the fur must fly.

I was involved in a Church dispute that seemed closer to resolution when the men would sit down to talk. As soon as the women found out that peace was close, they each so provoked their husbands that the war continued.
