We here in the US seem to have similar issues but they are unresolved. We have our own legalized bribery whereby the defense monopolies contribute to supportive legislators and military leaders that are friendly to the defense industry get well paid cushy jobs after retirement with these same defense monopolies. And here we are now paying obscene money for 20th century military equipment.
