I recently posted an article on my experiences working on a stroke ward. A comment made is worth posting as a note:
I keep re-reading the phrase, 'I must remain positive if I want to return to the life I once had.' To me, those words convey the message: 'This is not who I am; this isn't permanent, and everything isn't over yet.'
To respect and honour the self-growth and compassion I have shown myself and the life I've built, I must stay positive to return to it and not let it be lost in this time of difficulty.
Thank you for interpreting my words in that way. It was a pleasure to read it!
