During the Harris-Trump debate on Tuesday, I knew they wouldn’t cover biodiversity, extinction, or even joy and wonder in nature. Not even during foreign policy discussions did they offer opinions on Mexican Jay, Siberian Jay, and Canada Jay. So here they are for you — a kind of respite from politics. (For the record, I myself unequivocally support these and other songbirds.)
