Very insightful. I’m sure some of the 2,500 EIS officers trained at the CDC (as of 2001) were well intentioned, but the hectic propaganda steered their thinking for their lifetime making them useful dupes. Belief in virus theory is so deeply entrenched in culture that questioning it in any way is challenging to the core.
