I like this! Character vs plot is a really cool subject, and important for every writer to be aware of. My thought has always been that stories with staying power ought to be able to leverage both. The first half of stories I try and build momentum with plot driving, but the second half and as the end approaches I try and make as near to 100% character as I can get.
