I am so moved by this. And reminded that “Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken.” In one week we will have spent one sleepless night (with many more to come) with our third labrador puppy (after wondering if we could possibly open ourselves up again) and all of life with her will be worth the broken hearts we will surely experience.
