I agree with this. Including the part where the instances of unconditional love existing can often be bad, in certain contexts. Every time I read a new story about some guy who did a terrible, awful thing (murder, rape, killed his own kids etc) one of the first things I tend to think is that there's probably a mom out there defending him. Some of those dog owners too, even after they kill several other people's pets or even bite humans, just can't let them go.
