Can’t tell from the photo if you did this, but here’s how to take the curse off kale: after washing, rub the leaves with some oil and salt. Really try to break them down a bit. You’ll release the sulfurous compounds and it will sweeten up. Much easier to digest. Also, freshly sliced onions/garlic steeped in water to cover will do the same.
