I rarely, in fact almost never, comment or post.. but this moved me so very much. As a single parent, as a career woman, even as an ex-BBC (R5L no less!) publicity manager in another decade.. as an aspiring writer, as a wounded soul, as a survivor (bluergh but YKWIM).. oh all the roles we have and yet to want to commit to one, just one, at a time. All I’ll offer now that my ‘kids’ are young men is please do what works, what soothes, what helps, what excites you but not what doesn’t serve you.
