There’s a problem with the Christian County Library budget. It appears the previous director overspent the budget believing she could borrow against a future tax bond that the taxpayers hadn’t approved yet. This is a serious problem that is going to have long term problems in our community that we don’t even understand yet. Further, she misrepresented the health of the budget to the Board and then she just quit leaving the problems to a relatively new board and to a new ED.
