I just got a curriculum catalog in the mail!

What is amazing is that I am only just truly discovering Charlotte Mason this school year, after having spent many years cobbling together curriculum in different ways to fit with my philosophy of education and how my children learn best. Incredibly, after listening to the Literary Life podcast, then your podcast, then finding Ambleside Online, I did some reading as I dipped a toe into a trial period of Year 5 for my 5th grade boy and 6th grade girl. I read some of Charlotte’s own work, as well as For the Children’s Sake (since it was recommended so heartily), and was shocked to see that my own philosophy (developed as I had passionately pursued my masters in elementary education) was something that Charlotte had woven together so well already! We are now all in, excitedly finishing Year 5 and preparing four our Year 6 journey to come.
