Make money doing the work you believe in

Wow Lynn, there’s a lot here! Here are a couple ideas this sparked for me:

  1. The idea of triangles. Triangles are interesting because they are inherently stable. The three sides support one another. What is it about the geometry (sacred?) to appreciate about triangles?

  2. The physics of universe is such a fascinating topic. I keep going back to how Newtonian physics made the universe seem like a beautiful, elegant, predictable machine. And yet as we continued to delved into the nature of matter and forces we’ve discovered that our reality is full of crazy, quanta whose behavior is mysterious and unpredictable. And yet all of these Parts continue to play together in beautiful ways.

Something too about being open to new ways of understanding things. Interesting that human beings seem to live in a tension of on the one hand wanting to explore, be curious, and discover. And the other tension is a need to control, have predictability, and certainty.

It’s a really fascinating tension isn’t it and the tension is constantly changing depending on context, the particular person, etc.

What do you think contributes to a person’s ability to remain open to possibilities? Or to open someone up to possibilities?
