Student of Life — Never Stop Learning 💡

We are all on this grand journey of life together — the more we work together the grander the journey will be — and most importantly, the grander the future will be for the future generations who we are passing the torch to.

Onwards and upwards my friends 🚀

No such thing as a self-made man. You want to get anywhere in life — you need others. Humans are designed by evolution to be social and to work together for a net benefit. Go solo at your own peril, as you’ll never reach your full potential alone.

The caveat one must place on advice from others is this: only you have all the data about your life, so all external advice is advising you based on an incomplete data set — thus all advice must be taken with a grain of salt.

Pragmatism is the truest philosophy of them all, as it views the world as it is — rather than how it ought to be.

The world will always be imperfect, so must be approached with pragmatism; unless one wishes to be disappointed again and again.

Be curious — if you approach everything with a curious lens, you will tend to be less emotional about it.

For example: ‘That’s curious that person did that’ — rather than the emotional response, even if the action seems egregious to you at the time.

If you want to be confident — be yourself. No one can tell you who you are — as the answer comes from within not from without.

We are all hypocrites — we simply vary in our degrees of hypocrisy.

We all make ripples in the pond of history.

My Favourite Metals: Titanium (Ti), Gold (Au), and Platinum (Pt) — creates another favourite motto of mine: ‘Up & At It’ 🚀

A bit of a play on Theodore Roosevelt’s excellent wisdom of ‘Get Action’: ‘Get action. Do things; be sane; don't fritter away your time; create, act, take a place wherever you are and be somebody; get action.’ — TR 🔥
