I prepared this chart for our School Board when I was naive enough to think actual data mattered. I got the data from this study:

Look at Table 2

They were comparing CoVid vaccinated with no prior infection to non vaccinated with prior infection (vaccine efficacy vs natural immunity).

According to this data, during Delta:

97% of the patients in this study who were hospitalized with other respiratory illnesses were vaccinated with no prior infection, while 3% were non vaccinated prior infection.

And

94.2% of the patients in this study who were hospitalized with CoVid were vaccinated while 5.8% were not vaccinated with prior infection.

The data is analyzed for different strain prevalent time periods, but there are no dramatic differences indicating the vaccine was more effective at keeping people out of the hospital.

I would love for someone else to look at this and interpret what the actual data shows.
