(Pro-Russian Sources): A Ukrainian F-16 allegedly shot down a Russian Sukhoi Su-34 (NATO code name FULLBACK) fighter bomber.

The Sukhoi Su-34 multi-role attack aircraft is a twin-engine, two-seat mid-range supersonic bomber, suitable for all weather conditions, initially developed for the Soviet Air Force in the 1980s. It was one of the many programs of the Kremlin that were forced to shelve after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the consequent economic crisis; the program was later resumed and the aircraft formally entered service ten years ago.
