My key points are that Substack already moderates (among other things) explicit nude content, and that extremist Paid Substackers like

Richard B. Spencer

have hundreds of Paid Subscribers.

Richard Spencer used PayPal to fund the Unite the Right Rally in 2017 which resulted in the murder of Heather Heyer by a neo-Nazi. PayPal revoked his ability to do business with them. Are you going to wait for him to explicitly call for violence again before taking action?

And to anyone arguing that they’re contained within their own spaces here on Substack - Notes is changing that. I had 1 person this morning come to my comments throwing anti-Semitic slurs and posting excerpts from the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
