You are right, the roads and lack of equipment are not designed for much snow. But it’s so infrequent and still has the lovely four seasons. The mountains are over loved but still I’m close enough to those beautiful mountains to hike an average of a hundred miles a month, even in the snow 😻. I’ve lived in several other states and this place just fits.
