Grateful believer ✝️, single mom of amazing young man and dorky golden retriever, daughter/sister/auntie/great auntie, and lover of the real estate family of clients I've been serving since 2001.

Impostor syndrome: “I don't know what I'm doing. It's only a matter of time until everyone finds out."

Growth mindset: "I don't know what I'm doing yet. It's only a matter of time until I figure it out."

The highest form of self-confidence is believing in your ability to learn.

Hard truth I had to swallow about being a data scientist:

Stakeholders don’t give a f*ck about the complexity of your models, they care about the value they bring.

You might spend weeks fine-tuning hyperparameters, but all your stakeholders see is the impact on their goals. Did it save time? Cut costs? Drive revenue?

That’s what they’ll remember.

It’s not about downplaying your technical skills—it’s about proving your work’s impact. Frame your results in ways that resonate, and you’ll go from “the data person” to someone they see as indispensable.
