I shared this excellent article on Facebook and they just advised me that they removed the post.
WTH is wrong with these people?
I thought they were trying to behave more honorably now.
I guess not.
Recently, I've had some junk persistently pop up, just above my Facebook contact list. It was annoying, with zero redeeming value. Then I realized that I could click on the “...” of each one and get an option to hide it. It turns out the objects were ads. I didn't even know. They referenced numbers of posts or likes, or something, so I a…
Comments on a couple of current TV series:
- Silo
I just watched season 2, episode 10 of Silo and was a bit stunned that the last 10 minutes or so seemed to jump to a completely different story with different characters, in a relatively normal USA big city (DC). It featured a man and a woman who each seemed to be some kind of secret agent.…
I recently posted a meme (image) that aroused the Facebook "fact-checkers" ire. I posted a response in a comment below the meme. But I think it has less visibility there and this deserves to be known by more folks. Since this isn’t Facebook, I can include the meme here, SubStack has no interest censoring things.

Regarding the Azerbaijan plane crash:
I'm curious why no one has considered that the apparent fragmentation damage to the plane might have come from pieces of the exploding engine. I've seen hardly any evidence yet. And certainly not anything that would obviously confirm or eliminate this. Is it somehow clear to people on the scene that this couldn't be the case? Otherwise, why has no one raised it as a possibility?
Recently, I’ve had trouble viewing YouTube videos that are embedded within articles that are on pages other than YouTube. The method of placing a YouTube video within an article is not new. But recently, I've found that if I just click on "play", the video is replaced by an announcement that I must first "log in". But log into what? How? No means to log in are provided.
The article is on a page where I'm already logged in. If I open a YouTube page and log in there, it does nothing to help me wat…
Here’s a “fact-check” from Facebook, that fits an entirely too common pattern.
Again, the ignorant fact-checkers create a straw man argument that they can refute. But in no way do they make any accurate claim of falsity in this meme. The meme makes no claim, of fraud. It simply states some numbers reported regarding the election and point…
PLEASE! Break away from this social media idiocy of dating a video in terms of how long ago this specific copy was posted. That's useless information, and it's nearly always misleading. A label of "1 hour ago" expires quickly after it's written. Same for "two days ago", or "three months ago".
In today's rapidly changing world, old information must be viewed in the context of when it was created. Many things are just as useful to watch at a later date. But many other things grow stale quickly.

A large number of incidents of election manipulation have been uncovered all across the USA.
I suspect that the manipulators have decided that they might as well just go all out, and do so right out in the open. They fear that they can't succeed in creating a believable scenario for the winners of their choice. But having huge numbers of issues uncovered can also serve their purposes by setting things up to invalidate the results.
If you're losing, just tip over the game table.
Socialism/Communism is to governments as perpetual motion is to science. Not just because neither is possible, but also because the allure of making either work is so irresistible.
People are intuitively drawn to these ideas, through ignorance and hope. They become enamored by ideas that they don't understand can't work. They are either unaware of the work done in the past disproving the possibility of these ideas, or they disregard it.
The corruption of our USA legal system is so far beyond the pale, that it really is unbelievable. Not only were Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss let off, skot-free, despite their obvious involvement in manipulation of the 2020 GA election, but they were allowed to sue Rudy for telling the truth about them. I keep using words like ab…
