Yep, Dems adhering to this kind of norm makes them suckers in our current political climate. They need to give Rs the finger, just as Rs gave Biden and anyone who was not a Trump-worshipper the finger. We need to fight and never submit. It is suicidal to let norms hamstring us at this point. We really cannot wait till the 2026 election: By that time the entire governmental apparatus will be controlled by Trump and it will not matter who is in Congress.

Some Dems voted to censure because they aren't Republulicans and don't all think alike or act in lockstep.
