I’m kind of obsessed with these checkerboard onyx ashtrays. It’s pretty downright disgusting to me that people smoked incessantly in their homes and in public spaces up until the late 90’s (2003 in Alabama!). However, there are so many cute ashtrays out there than can be upcycled into something positive like jewelry trays or catch alls.

Something fun to look for when you’re at an estate sale, ebay, a flea, etc.
